Pyle was commissioned by them both to create the Puccini’s artwork at the restaurant’s inception. As a commercial illustrator, Pyle has worked for clients like Target, Rolling Stone magazine, Sports Illustrated and many others. Currently his fine artwork as C.J. Pyle is in many collections and has been shown in museums and galleries across the United States, Europe and Australia.

Puccini’s has won numerous awards and commendations through the years from The Indianapolis Star, Indianapolis Monthly, NUVO as well as many others. In 2012, Puccini’s took home the “Best Classic Pizza in the America” award at the World Championship of Pizza in Parma, Italy.
